I present  myself before the lotus feet of vinayaka (Ganesha),who is the son of Uma Maheswari, The goddess who destroys sorrow,  He who is served by the angels,  He who has the face of an elephant, who partakes of the essence of kapittha and jambu fruits.

Lord Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Goddess Parvati. He is the older brother of Lord Muruga(Subramaniya).Lord Ganesha is one the most popular god among hindus. He is known for destroying evils and save us from all kinds of obstacles.He is  god of education,knowledge and wealth. Lord Ganesha's vehicle is a tiny mouse.Lord Ganesha carries a rope  in his hands to guide his devotees to truth and an Axe to remove all obstacles on the way and a sweet ladoo for the way.
